It is our intention that this space be used to communicate our on going ministry and work that is done in the community of New London Connecticut. Also we would hope our friends from around the nation and world will drop by and tell us what is going on in there neck of the world. We do reserve the right to take off anything abusively shameless, derogatory and baseless if we so deem necessary. But I assure you that we are not afraid of controversy and will do the utmost to keep diverse opinions in our shared communication. I will answer any and all questions directed to me as honestly as possible given that they do not hurt anyone other than my own thin skin. Of course I will not violate intentionally any ones privacy. With that said I hope this journal or blog as the professionals refer to this type of site is useful to those who would like to know more about what we do; our controversial opinions and ways. We may even dip a little into our religious perspective. May God bless you all as He has me. PAX Fr. Russ

We lost a friend in our homeless community just recently; his name was Danny, one of so many I've lost over the past three years here in New London CT. I personally for some reason this year do not know what to do with the hurt and anger that I feel about the loss of so many that I believe whos lives where cut short by our society not caring for it's fagile souls. What I have asked my web manager to do is open a page, a poetry page, hope and prayerfully with in the next few days. Tribute to Dan Worobel in poetry and writing is what I would like to see from friends. Please share we bless you all.

The tragic loss of people who fall through the cracks and are homeless is epidemic. As a people joined under this system of government, it appears we are failing and falling apart. This situation will continue for us until the threat meets the doorsteps of our upper class and we do have a class system, one defined by economics, education and the ability to live isolated from the realities of our urban centers where poverty abounds.
Bless You

I knew Danny back in his hometown of Shelton. Great guy. The story of the cooking class is so true.
